I am a lifelong Central NY resident. I am a retired Professional Firefighter of over 29 years. As a Firefighter, I received a lot of education and experience that naturally lends itself to being a home inspector such as building construction, fire prevention, and codes training. It was a profession I enjoyed because I was able to help people. From a young age, I have always been interested in how things work and how things are put together. I have worked doing home improvements and repairs in the past, learning from some of the best. In my free time, I enjoy working on and restoring antique fire apparatus including my current project a 1935 Chevy Fire Engine. I like to be able to help people see and understand things I may find while inspecting a property to educate them in a manner that is not being an alarmist. Most all properties will have things that can be brought to someones attention for improvement. This includes my own home. A home inspection is not a pass / fail type of inspection. A home inspector is a trained independent set of eyes that looks over the property to identify the safety, operation, and condition of the components inspected per the New York State Standards of Practice. Our inspector then reports those findings to the client to assist them in knowing more about the property they are considering. I look forward to the chance to work with you.
